About the team
Our team was founded in October 2006 by Hans Hornung (AUT), Mauro Pompei (ITA) and Petar Nikolovski (MKD). All our members are from international environment, mostly of military diplomatic staff in Ankara.
The spontaneous idea to found AMAC-Soccer-Team (AST) came after some attachés raised their interest in football. For many of us it became a revival of former personal experiences with this wonderfull sport. After playing friendly matches in 2007 only, we joined the Ankara International League in 2008.
If you want to inform yourself how our team is performing please check respective website, if you want to come and see us just come to Losan Park sport facility where, AST hold regulary training sessions every Saturday morning at 1000 hrs.
As a founding member I hope this idea, together with our AST-team dress, will last as long military attachés are represented in Ankara.
